Paul Sebastian Mauricio Ardila-Ibarra is a Colombian-born Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Roan Carneiro of American Top Team (ATT). Born on January 13, 1991, in Bucaramanga, Colombia, Ardila-Ibarra moved to the United States at the age of 9, settling in Atlanta, Georgia.Ardila-Ibarra's martial arts journey began with wrestling in high school, where he excelled, placing twice in the state championships and becoming a state champion in Greco-Roman wrestling. He was introduced to BJJ in the summer of 2009 by his brother Sergio and began training consistently under Roan "Jucao" Carneiro in March 2010.During his time at the University of Georgia, Ardila-Ibarra continued to wrestle at a high level, placing 4th at the NCWA national tournament in 2012 and winning the tournament in 2014.
